Jenny Thurber, MS, LPC

I’m a trauma-informed therapist with a passion for helping individuals heal from the impacts of relational trauma, attachment wounding, codependency, and addiction. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in the context of safety, connection, and self-compassion.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and bring a diverse background of clinical experience. I’ve worked in a DBT-focused group practice in St. Louis, supported individuals in outpatient substance use disorder treatment, and collaborated closely with inpatient and residential programs across the country. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex layers of trauma, addiction, and recovery.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and experiential therapy, and I will be completing training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) later this year. These approaches allow me to support clients in processing trauma, understanding inner dynamics, and building meaningful, sustainable change.
